Come join our Volunteer Guild!

Looking for an opportunity to serve your community? Then come join our Volunteer Guild! Our volunteers serve in a number of ways such as scanning tickets, ushering patrons, selling merchandise, greeting visitors, answering questions, and being stewards for the facility. Sign-ups for events are on a first-come, first-serve basis, and as a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to experience live performances and receive benefits including tickets, invitations to special events, and more. 

Volunteers are the lifeblood of any arts organization and are a critical part to our success. We need YOU to help our facility run smoothly!

No experience is necessary, but before each event, volunteers working the event will be required to attend the brief team meeting to receive important event details & necessary training.

If you have the following pre-requisites and attributes,
we welcome you to become a member of our Volunteer Guild!

At least 18 years of age and dependable
Available weeknights and weekends
Interest in the performing arts and in meeting new people
Comfortable interacting with the general public  
Enjoy helping others and work as a team with other volunteers
Show enthusiasm and a positive attitude
Patience, flexibility, and strong communication skills
Adhere to defined dress code
Remain calm in stressful situations
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for long periods of time, including navigating stairs
Demonstrate professionalism while performing tasks & assigned roles
Accept direction from Heindl Center staff
Routine access to email for sign-ups & event communications
